About the Global Media Project (GMP)
Created to understand the role of media in as well as to produce global-interest media for international affairs, the Global Media Project engages new voices, ideas and policies through online platforms (globalmediaproject.net and radiopensource.org) and documentary film (After 9/11, Virtual JFK, and Human Terrain). GMP promotes pluralist perspectives, critical investigations and global engagement through innovative media. GMP is currently funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, which recently awarded the project a new grant, Global Engagement through Innovative Media. Visit us at: globalmediaproject.net.
